Graduation
Our Year 6 Graduation on Tuesday was an amazing event, showcasing our incredible students and celebrating the impact they have had on our school. As I said at the ceremony – our Year 6 graduates always have a place here, and we look forward to hearing the amazing things they are doing at high school. We will miss you!

Holidays
From all the staff here at LGPS, we wish you a safe and merry Christmas. We look forward to seeing you in the new year. Class lists will be available on Friday 30 January, with students returning to school on Monday 2 February.
Graduation
Our Graduates
As our Year 6 students prepare to take the next exciting step into high school, we would like to wish every member of this cohort all the very best for the adventures ahead. It was truly wonderful to watch their camp video and see the joy, laughter and lasting friendships that have been formed along the way. Looking back through photos from Kindy to Year 6 was a powerful reminder of just how much our students have grown, developed and matured into such confident, capable and incredible individuals.

We would like to sincerely thank our dedicated staff for their commitment, care and hard work throughout the years, as well as our families for their ongoing support and partnership. A heartfelt congratulations to everyone involved for such a beautiful and memorable graduation ceremony. No matter which secondary school our students are heading to, remember where you are from — you will always be part of the Little Grove family. We are so proud of you and have no doubt that you will go on to achieve great things and truly move mountains.

Graduation Lunch
Our graduation day ended on the beautiful shores of Three Anchors, where the sunshine, sea air, and laughter made it a day to remember. The beach became our playground as students enjoyed cricket, volleyball, and plenty of smiles, soaking up every moment of fun.
More than the games, it was the time spent together that made the day so special — sharing laughs, memories, and those precious final moments as a Year 6 family. It was a chance to pause, reflect, and truly enjoy each other’s company before the end of term and the exciting new chapters ahead.
As our students prepare to move on to high school, we do so feeling incredibly proud of everything they have achieved and the wonderful young people they have become. They leave us with unforgettable memories, strong friendships, and bright futures ahead.

Year 6, you were amazing.
Good luck on your next adventure — go shine, stay kind, and never lose that wonderful spark that makes you you.
Reward Sports Day
Our students recently enjoyed a Groovy Grover Reward Day, celebrating their hard work and reaching an important milestone. The day was filled with a variety of fun sports and activities, organised across different stations. From limbo and tug of war to many other exciting games on the basketball courts, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The students had a wonderful time showing great energy, teamwork, and enthusiasm throughout the very warm and athletic day. Well done to all who reached the milestone—we hope you had as much fun as it looked!

SPORTS CORNER
Exciting News! Connecting Schools Grant Success
We are very excited to announce that we have been successful in receiving the Department of Transport’s 2026 Connecting Schools Grant. Our school will receive $7,500, which will be used to fund bike education lessons for students at Little Grove Primary School in 2026.
I am currently working with the Your Move team to schedule four hours of bike education for students in Years 2–6 in Term 1 next year.
We look forward to providing our students with these valuable learning opportunities and promoting safe, active travel in our school community.
P&C
We are small, but we are mighty! The LGPS P&C Committee would like to thank all our amazing volunteers, donations and local small businesses that have helped us this year. So to all of you, THANK YOU!
We have accomplished so much this year and what a MASSIVE effort it was. If you'd like to know more about the Little Grove Primary P&C and how you can help us next year, please send us a message or contact us at [email protected]. We also have our first P&C meeting next Tuesday 10th February at 7pm in the Library if you'd like to join and share your ideas.
We are looking forward to what 2026 brings and hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year.
See you all in 2026!

Canteen Update
We get it, life gets busy! But due to the lack of volunteers we've had for the canteen distribution this year, we have had to make the difficult decision to take a break from offering this service from Term 1 next year.
In the interim, we will be planning a special canteen day once per term.
We hope you understand and look forward to possibly bringing back the weekly lunches in future.
